La Lectura Como Pilar En La Educación Para La Identidad Cultural De Los Universitarios

Abstract

La necesidad de formar universitarios con plena conciencia de su identidad cultural, capaces de reflexionar, debatir, amar y respetar diversas manifestaciones que caracterizan “lo cubano” en el mosaico de la cultura universal, así como vigorizar el sentido de pertenencia y el compromiso con el patrimonio tangible e intangible de la nación, es un reto actual de la universidad cubana. El reconocimiento de la lectura como un ejercicio profundamente ideológico y desarrollador de conciencia, permite al profesor universitario utilizarla como un valioso instrumento, si de contribución a la educación para la identidad cultural se trata; aspectos que son valorados en el presente artículo, derivado de una investigación teórica. El mismo tiene como objetivo reflexionar –desde posiciones pedagógicas- en torno a la lectura como pilar en la educación para la identidad cultural.
