La Mejora De La Educación Intercultural Potenciando La Vinculación Con La Comunidad Local. El Caso De Los Estudiantes De Turismo Alternativo De La Uiep

Abstract

Pese a los logros en la educación de las universidades interculturales, queda terreno por recorrer para lograr un verdadero diálogo y suma de saberes culturales en el ámbito educativo. Estas instituciones han asentado un gran avance en este sentido mediante la actividad de vinculación con la comunidad. Dentro de ésta planeamos, la necesidad de reforzar la transmisión del conocimiento de la comunidad hacia el estudiante. Este importante proceso para el diálogo de saberes se está mostrando esencial para conseguir, por un lado, incluir conocimiento tradicional en el currículo, profesionalizando un conocimiento ahora sí plenamente intercultural; y, por otro lado, está sirviendo de base para sentar las bases cognitivas y formativas, las cuales van a permitir que el discente, en adelante, pueda asimilar óptimamente conocimiento procedente de diversas culturas. Ilustraremos el proceso con casos concretos de vinculación en la UIEP.
