Tendencias En La Formación Profesional De Archivistas En México

Abstract

El presente trabajo aborda el desarrollo histórico que ha tenido la archivística, desde su origen, evolución como una de las Ciencias de la Información en constante crecimiento, así como el posicionamiento que ha tenido dentro de la Educación Superior en México y que ha sido el factor determinante en la formación profesional de expertos en el manejo de documentos, archivos e información de carácter público o privado conforme lo señala el marco jurídico mexicano en materia de archivos, transparencia y acceso a la información. Es importante destacar que actualmente tendencias internacionales en estos temas y otros más como la gestión de documentos y gestión de calidad en los archivos, determinan el perfil profesional del archivista que la sociedad de la información demanda.
