Análisis De La Gestión Y Administración De Los Residuos Cosméticos En Cd. Valles, San Luis Potosí, México

Abstract

Los salones de belleza ofrecen una amplia grana de servicios que incluyen desde tratamientos del cabello, hasta tratamientos de la piel. Sin embargo, durante las actividades de estos lugares, se utiliza mucha agua, y se generan residuos que pueden impactar de manera negativa al medio ambiente. En este artículo, se presentan los resultados de la primera etapa de un proyecto sobre el análisis de la disposición de los residuos en los salones de belleza en Cd. Valles, San Luis Potosí, México. La recopilación dela información fue realizada a través de trabajo de campo en el municipio (encuestas, entrevistas). La información aquí presentada, refleja la opinión personal de los entrevistados y la proporcionada por el propio municipio. Los resultados mostraron que en la ciudad no se cuenta con plan de gestión para el manejo de los residuos, lo cual podría estar impactando severamente al medio ambiente. Este estudio será la base para identificar áreas prioritarias de intervención, desarrollar nuevos proyectos de investigación, y formular políticas ambientales.
