Los Proveedores De Servicios De Internet Y El Cambio De Paradigma En La Economía De Contenidos

Abstract

En las últimas dos décadas, una realidad ha puesto de frente a la industria cultural con los usuarios de Internet por el control de los contenidos, siendo los intermediarios, o proveedores de servicios de internet, quienes han marcado la pauta a través de la constante regulación de su actividad por parte de los gobiernos en el mundo, aunque principalmente gracias al aporte del derecho norteamericano en la consolidación del actual régimen de responsabilidad por infracciones al derecho de autor en Internet. En este artículo se pretende relatar este avance constante, que a su paso, ha dejado de una parte un impacto positivo con nuevos modelos de negocio y oportunidades, y de la otra parte, una escenario de pérdidas en aquellos modelos que no fueron capaces de reinventarse, y de lograr dar el salto definitivo: de los átomos a los bits.
