Las Estructuraciones De La Sustentabilidad Hídrica

Abstract

El objetivo del presente ensayo es exponer las relaciones causales entre los factores de sustentabilidad hídrica global y local. A partir del crecimiento y densidad poblacional global se describen sus consecuencias de disponibilidad y abastecimiento de agua. La disponibilidad hídrica per cápita es otro factor que incide directamente en el costo tarifario del servicio de agua. Finalmente, el servicio de provisión afecta el consumo per cápita. Posteriormente, considerando las teorías de racionalidad sociológica, se conceptualiza a la sustentabilidad hídrica global como la toma de decisiones etnocentristas que impiden el desarrollo sostenido de la humanidad. La exposición y conceptualización de la problemática servirá en la construcción de instrumentos que midan los factores de sustentabilidad hídrica local.
