Abstract

Desde hace varias décadas hemos venido asumiendo la premisa de que el mundo está cambiando, de que nos enfrentaremos a nuevos y distintos escenarios, que necesitamos estar preparados para asumir las grandes transformaciones, pero la realidad es que los cambios ya están aquí y no nos dieron oportunidad de sensibilizarnos, los hemos asumido con grandes limitaciones que nos han obligado a sobrevivir en un ambiente cada vez más turbulento e inestable, y la educación superior no ha sido la excepción. A partir del surgimiento de la cuarta revolución tecnológica se le han conferido nuevas responsabilidades a la academia, que tienen que ver con el progreso y el desarrollo de las sociedades del conocimiento.
