Reconocimiento de patrones en la educación superior, una necesidad no satisfecha

Abstract

El reconocimiento de patrones (RP) es una de las áreas de estudio de la inteligencia artificial que permite mediante técnicas de identificación de algunas características de los objetos a los que se aplica, realizar la clasificación de conjuntos de caracteres a fin de simular procesos sensoriales humanos como la visión y el habla. Este estudio se realiza con el fin de justificar un contenido curricular de reconocimiento de patrones en los programas de las universidades para sus facultades de ingeniería, a partir de las múltiples aplicaciones que benefician este tipo de programas y que no sea simplemente una materia optativa en carreras de postgrado de las universidades.
