Validez del Exani-Ii en estudiantes de Ingeniería Industrial del Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Valles

Abstract

El presente trabajo es una continuación de la investigación para determinar si existe correlación entre las competencias adquiridas en las instituciones educativas y lo evaluado en EXANI II, en esta ocasión se realizó con estudiantes de la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial del Tecnológico de Ciudad Valles que ingresaron en el 2010. Se realiza un análisis estadístico que permite identificar el tipo de correlación existente entre el promedio que el aspirante tiene en bachillerato y el resultado que obtiene en su examen de ingreso a nivel superior (EXANI-II), también se determina el grado de predictibilidad que tiene dicho puntaje y el nivel de aprovechamiento que obtiene en sus estudios durante su carrera profesional. Por tanto esta investigación realiza un análisis de la validez retrospectiva, concurrente y predictiva del examen de admisión que aplica Centro Nacional de Evaluación (CENEVAL), el estudio se realiza bajo dos mecánicas de estudio similares, la correlación de Pearson contemplada como el método más usual por parte del programa SPSS, y la correlación policórica recomendada por CENEVAL. Observamos que no existe validez concurrente, predictiva, no retrospectiva en los resultados obtenidos. Adicionalmente se observó que los métodos de cálculo coinciden en el nivel de correlación, pero no en el nivel de significancia.
