Gestión electrónica de documentos

Abstract

El presente artículo describe una visión que los autores dan al tema de la gestión electrónica de documentos, en donde se identifica la importancia de contar con una organización del patrimonio que se genera en todas las organizaciones. Para ello existen ya esfuerzos por estandarizar el manejo que se le da a cualquier documento que se genera, esto mediante normas internacionales, así como programas gubernamentales que buscan organizar y resguardar la información de forma ordenada, accesible y disponible. Se logra identificar que la Ley Federal de Archivos y la norma ISO15489 muestran una relación directa en cuanto a los objetivos que plantean, puesto que se trabajan mediante un ciclo de vida de cada documento, cubriendo lo procesos de generación, clasificación, resguardo, conservación y disposición de los mismos. El uso que las organizaciones puedan dar a las tecnologías de la información permite que se tenga un manejo eficaz y eficiente de cada documento que las áreas de dichas organizaciones generan como parte de los procesos administrativos que rigen sus responsabilidades. Con un sistema de gestión electrónica de documentos se puede brindar una mayor disponibilidad y facilidad de acceso a todos los bancos de información almacenados y digitalizados.
