Estudio Sobre Microregiones Y Corredores Rurales

Abstract

La región Purhépecha en Michoacán, México, es analizada por sus centros y corredores urbanos/rurales para describir procesos que son características de los espacios sociales y que les imprimen un cierto orden. Este conocimiento es útil para explicar las interacciones espaciales que aúnan dinero y mercados, a múltiples factores de la localización con su contraparte activa, la circulación entre lugares, y que son tan decisivos para el éxito de la inversión, como para lograr la mejor gestión local regional. En este trabajo intentamos explicar cómo este espacio social es producido por amplias dinámicas locales y regionales. Asimismo, indagamos por qué este espacio está relacionado con el surgimiento y readaptación de los lugares funcionalmente adecuados que organizan las microregiones y sus corredores rurales. En resumen, presentamos los distintos niveles de desarrollo espacial que estructuran a la región purhépecha.
