Abstract

El presente trabajo describe los pormenores de la modernización policial que está siendo llevada a cabo al interior de la Policía de Seguridad Aeroportuaria, rescatando especialmente el rol educativo en el proceso de transformación, y sus incidencias para la renovación de la profesión policial ligada a la sociedad civil. Para ello, se describe el surgimiento y la evolución en la conformación de la institución a nivel mundial y en la Argentina, sus rasgos tradicionales y el desafío de su modernización en un paradigma de seguritización dado por la complejidad del delito en sus formas de Nuevas Amenazas.
