La corrupción como límite para la competitividad de municipios en Sinaloa, México

Abstract

El presente artículo trata sobre de la incidencia de la corrupción en la competitividad de los municipios urbanos de Sinaloa. Para tal propósito se realiza un estudio cualitativo descriptivo con un marco teórico basado en datos construidos por organizaciones internacionales y nacionales que permiten dar claridad a la competitividad y corrupción. Como hipótesis se plantea el impacto de la tasa de prevalencia de la corrupción sobre el índice de competitividad urbana de los municipios de Sinaloa. Se concluye el peso significativo de la corrupción resulta un obstáculo en la competitividad de los municipios y las alternativas de solución que plantea la creación del Sistema Estatal y Municipal Anticorrupción que incorpora la participación de la ciudadana en la prevenir y sancionar la corrupción.
