Rescate de edificaciones antiguas en la industria de la hospitalidad como estrategia de emprendimiento

Abstract

Una de las tendencias dentro de las industrias relacionadas al turismo es la del rescate de edificaciones antiguas para ser utilizadas como infraestructura y coraz�n ya sea de restaurantes u hoteles. En �ste documento se realiz� una revisi�n considerando dichas tendencias de emprendimiento espec�ficamente para el caso de la industria de la hospitalidad en lo que hoy son llamados �hoteles boutique�, cuyas caracter�sticas diferenciadoras en esencia son el n�mero reducido de habitaciones, espacio limitado para eventos, lobbies peque�os, atenci�n personalizada a los hu�spedes, pero especial cuidado en la conservaci�n del patrimonio, sentido de la est�tica y de la vanguardia tecnol�gica, sin importar la ubicaci�n. Estas particularidades permiten a los emprendedores incursionar en un nicho de mercado en crecimiento y con altas posibilidades de �xito si se desarrolla un proyecto bien definido.
