Abstract

Introducción: El brote actual del nuevo coronavirus SARS COV 2 (enfermedad del coronavirus 2019; anteriormente CoV 2019), epicentrado en la provincia de Hubei de la República Popular China, se extendido a muchos otros países. El objetivo es asociar la procrastinación en alumnos de Nivel Superior en universidades Públicas/Privadas durante el confinamiento por SARS COV2. La metodología es el tipo de investigación analítico, observacional, prospectivo y transversal. Se utilizo medidas de tendencia central (media) y de dispersión (rangos mínimos, máximos y DE) para las variables cuantitativas. La procrastinación fue evaluada con el instrumento Escala de evaluación de Procrastinación PASS de Solomon y Rothblum, validada en 1984. Para analizar la relación entre estas variables se utilizó Chi-cuadrada y t de student cuando fuese el caso. Los resultados: El 61.5% (n=40) de los alumnos presentaron un nivel moderado de procrastinación. Existió una relación estadísticamente significativa entre el nivel de procrastinación con el tipo de universidad (pública y privada) (p=0.01). Las Conclusiones a las que se llegó: Existió una relación estadísticamente significativa entre los puntajes y niveles de procrastinación con el tipo de universidad (pública y privada).
