Abstract

Una exposición titulada La Desbandá de 1937. De Málaga a los Pirineos ha conmemorado, ochenta y cinco años más tarde, la huida de la población mayoritariamente civil por la única salida libre que quedaba a la ciudad después del acoso de las tropas fascistas italianas y las hispano-marroquíes que acabaron ocupando Málaga el 8 de febrero de 1937. Ha sido posible mediante un convenio entre la Universidad de Málaga, Secretaría de Estado de Memoria Democrática y la Fundación Unicaja que ha cedido el local que gestiona en el Palacio Episcopal durante septiembre y octubre de 2022. La exposición ha sido llevada también a Almería, Granada y seguirá recorriendo otras localidades ligadas al recorrido de los refugiados y refugiadas malagueñas.
