Cuando «la diferencia» canta. La idiosincrasia gitana tradicional en el cante flamenco. De la oralidad a la escritura

Abstract

Nos hallamos ante un aspecto capital, desde el que se rebate en nuestros días el privilegio otorgado a la escritura, como publiqué en este escrito en mi blog en noviembre de 2022. La oralidad no señala una imperfección o una carencia, sino una modalidad particular, en absoluto inferior, de elaboración y transmisión cultural. Los gitanos, en este sentido, no son “á-grafos”, “an-alfabetos” (¿por qué definir la singularidad en términos de una ausencia?): vivencian una cultura de la oralidad, en expresión de A. R. Luria, E. A. Havelock, W. Ong y otros.
