Evaluaciones Estandarizadas En Contextos Desiguales: Su Influencia En El Proceso De Enseñanza-Aprendizaje De Los Estudiantes

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta una reflexión y crítica sobre las evaluaciones estandarizadas aplicadas por parte del Instituto Colombiano para la Evaluación de la Educación, más conocido por sus siglas como ICFES. Esta entidad evalúa la calidad educativa en Colombia en los diferentes niveles educativos en todo el territorio nacional, sin embargo, no considera las desigualdades que existe entre los diversos contextos educativos a la hora de evaluar a los estudiantes y la influencia de estas condiciones en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje desarrollado en las escuelas. Este escrito no pretende sugerir la eliminación de este tipo de exámenes, sino que se resignifique la estructura de la prueba, de modo que tenga en cuenta las particularidades de los diversos contextos. Además, se analice la lectura de los resultados desde un enfoque cualitativo en mayor grado que desde lo cuantitativo puesto que en la actualidad se prioriza sobre lo numérico por parte de distintos actores educativos.
