Presidentes de la República, Secretarios y Ministros de Educación Pública de Costa Rica (1847-2017)

Abstract

El propósito de la investigación es contar con un texto de referencia histórica que muestre el rol de los mandatarios de Estado y Ministros de Educación en la construcción del sistema educativo de Costa Rica y analizar, mediante la memoria histórica, algunos vacíos o inflexiones necesarias para cimentar la identidad y singularidad de la educación costarricense a través de los personajes que detentan el poder político y administrativo desde la función pública. La metodología utilizada fue del modelo conceptual ontológico que relaciona: contexto histórico a través de hitos y momentos constitutivos, el sujeto: Figuras políticas de Presidentes y Ministros de Educación y el Objeto: Paradigmas educativos. Los resultados son la sistematización de nombres, datos biográficos, profesiones y momentos históricos donde participaron 73 Secretarios de Instrucción Pública y Ministros de Educación Pública y sus respectivos periodos de gobierno, esquematizando su aporte a la identidad y memoria histórica del sistema educativo (1848-2017).
