Vigencia del pensamiento de Fidel Castro en la protección y conservación del medio ambiente en Cuba

Abstract

En el uso y la conservación del medio ambiente Fidel Castro fue un precursor, un pionero en la lucha por protegerlo, supo alertar y denunciar en diferentes espacios los riesgos que se corrían, los problemas que tendría el mundo del futuro, pero que ya hoy son una realidad: hambrunas, el crecimiento descontrolado de la población, la contaminación, los problemas energéticos, la escasez de recursos naturales, los problemas del desarrollo, así como denunció las causas que han llevado a la agudización de estos males. Todos ellos repercuten en la propia existencia del hombre del siglo XXI.
