Abstract

La gestión del riesgo, con énfasis en ecosistemas frágiles, requiere de estudios multidisciplinarios y es una importante herramienta para los gobiernos locales para favorecer la resiliencia y por tanto la reducción del beneficio económico ambiental perdido. La zona costera norte de Camagüey, Cuba, es un ecosistema muy frágil, donde existen diez áreas protegidas, de éstas una con importancia internacional (Refugio de Fauna “Río Máximo†de Camagüey), y está expuesta a peligros naturales y tecnológicos (derrames).
