Separación parental y su incidencia en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes

Abstract

La separación parental según diversas investigaciones se define como la pérdida o ausencia de la madre o padre en el hogar, la cual se desarrolla por diferentes causas tales como infidelidad, violencia intrafamiliar, problemas económicos, fallecimiento, secuestros, drogas, etc., las mismas que generan efectos directos e indirectos en niños y adolescentes quienes son los más vulnerables; una muestra visible de esta problemática social es el rendimiento escolar, el cual a través de reportes de calificaciones, atención en clase y disciplina demuestra que algo está sucediendo.
