Repercusiones cognitivas secuelares del paludismo

Abstract

La Fiebre Malaria o Paludismo es una enfermedad milenaria que todavía afecta al ser humano, en el año 2017, 219 millones de casos en 90 países dieron como saldo 435 mil muertes, por esto la presente investigación indaga respecto a esta enfermedad vectorial para conocer los avances médicos y científicos respecto del Paludismo para lo cual se analizan las recientes investigaciones desarrolladas sobre esta enfermedad, en especial la manera cómo afecta a los niños por ser los más vulnerables, por tal motivo la familia y el equipo docente necesitan conocer las implicaciones en esta área, así como disponer de recursos y programas específicos para prevenir la reproducción del insecto transmisor. Sería importante aplicar un plan remedial para recuperar al estudiante que ha faltado a clases debido a la gravedad de esta enfermedad. El tema es interdisciplinar porque involucra profesionalmente a médicos y a docentes, es necesario que el personal académico se familiarice con los síntomas de esta enfermedad para conocer de qué manera la fiebre Malaria afecta a los estudiantes para intervenir más eficazmente en los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje y lograr que este grupo vulnerable logre un mejor rendimiento académico.
