La industria pesquera. Una opción sostenible para el desarrollo local en Mayarí

Abstract

El objetivo es elaborar una propuesta de proyecto sostenible de iniciativa municipal de desarrollo local en la cadena de la pesca acuícola, con mayor agregación de valor a sus producciones que tribute al desarrollo local del municipio. Se emplearon métodos científicos del nivel teórico para analizar los conceptos desarrollo local y cadena de valor. Del nivel empírico la encuesta, entrevistas individuales y grupales no estructuradas, trabajo del grupo nominal y su accionar. Los resultados están en la propuesta de proyecto de diversificación de la producción industrial acuícola, para obtener otras producciones, mayor aprovechamiento de las materias primas y su contribución al desarrollo local. Se concluye que la valoración de la propuesta metodológica empleada valida la puesta en práctica de una alternativa factible, viable y de pertinencia en el contexto municipal.
