Manejo agroecológico integral en la finca Clemente Fumero para la soberanía alimentaria

Abstract

La especie humana tiene necesidad de alimentarse, pero la producción de los alimentos debe hacerse respetando el medio ambiente. Diferentes prácticas agrícolas provocan serias afectaciones a la biodiversidad de los agroecosistemas. En contraposición a estas, toma auge la agroecología pues permite alcanzar la soberanía alimentaria respetando el medio ambiente. En Cuba esta tendencia se está desarrollando y perfeccionado mediante la agricultura familiar. En la presente investigación se trazó como Objetivo General: Diseñar una propuesta de manejo agroecológico integral para la finca “Clemente Fumero†a través del proyecto de cría de ganado menor. Los procedimientos utilizados fueron: análisis de documentos, observación participante, entrevista no estructurada, iconográfico y cartográfico. Todo ello contribuyóa un mayor alcance de la soberanía alimentaria y validó que la agroecología es una alternativa viable para la agricultura cubana, que reporta importantes beneficios económicos, medioambientales y socioculturales.
