Análisis estadístico espacial del robo a personas en la ciudad de Riobamba

Abstract

El presente trabajo tuvo por objetivo estudiar la distribución espacial del robo a personas en la ciudad de Riobamba según la edad, en el estudio se aplicó el método de Kriging Universal usando el software ArcMap 10.3; mediante el análisis se determinó que los circuitos de mayor incidencia fueron la Politécnica (20,21%), Condamine (18,05%), Terminal Terrestre (15,28%) y la Estación (12,92%), con edades promedio de 28, 34, 31, 30 años respectivamente. El método Kriging Universal destaca que el centro, Sur-Oeste, Este (alrededores de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo) y todo el Norte (alrededores de la Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo) de la ciudad de Riobamba son zonas de alta probabilidad de que las persona adultas y jóvenes sufran un robo.
