Deontología aplicada en la medicina en diferentes centros de salud caso de Joaquina

Abstract

En nuestro país existen centros de salud públicos y privados, en los cuales ejercen su profesión doctores, enfermeras, entre otros. Joaquina es una niña que nació con una protuberancia en su parpado izquierdo, el cual toma mayor tamaño cuando ella llora, y unas manchas marrones en su piel. Debido a esto ha sido atendida por varios doctores y especialistas para determinar que es, y su motivo de aparición. Al principio su pediatra de cabecera decidió enviar ciertos masajes para eliminar la hinchazón, pero al ver que estos no daban resultados, fue derivada hacia un oftalmólogo quien cumpliendo el deber de todo medico ayudo a la madre para que se le practiquen varios exámenes para determinar la ubicación de la masa y darle un diagnostico mas fiable. Al ser un caso muy especial, la niña tenia que ser atendida por varios especialistas como: oncólogo, genetista, neurocirujano, entre otros. Cabe recalcar que cada uno de los doctores tomaron su decisión según su ética y moral.
