Abstract

La riqueza de las hortalizas se basa fundamentalmente en su contenido de vitaminas, sales minerales y ácidos orgánicos fácilmente asimilables, aceites esenciales, etc., sustancias que juegan un rol fundamental para el desarrollo y funcionamiento del organismo humano, pues contribuyen al mejoramiento del sabor de las comidas, al aumento de la secreción de las glándulas digestivas y con todo ello a la mejor digestión y asimilación de las demás sustancias nutritivas. Teniendo en cuenta lo planteado anteriormente, el problema del descenso de los rendimientos del cultivo provocado por la infertilidad de los suelos y tomando como objeto el cultivo de la cebolla, en el siguiente trabajo evaluamos el efecto de la inoculación de micorriza y el empleo de humus de lombriz en el desarrollo del cultivo de cebolla sobre suelo con baja fertilidad.
