Significación del patrimonio natural, histórico y cultural existente en el sendero arqueológico “El Guafe†, para los pobladores de Cabo Cruz, Niquero

Abstract

Una muestra de patrimonio arqueológico existente en la provincia Granma, lo constituye el sendero arqueológico El Guafe situado en la Meseta cársica de Cabo Cruz en el Parque Nacional Desembarco del Granma en el municipio de Niquero. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo valorar el significado que le atribuyen los pobladores de Cabo Cruz en Niquero, a este sendero arqueológico. Se acoge al paradigma metodológico cualitativo y emplea como métodos teóricos: Histórico- Lógico, el análisis- síntesis y el inductivo-deductivo; como método cualitativo el fenomenológico y como método empírico: la observación científica. Las Técnicas aplicadas fueron la entrevista y el cuestionario. Se logra caracterizar desde el punto de vista de los recursos naturales, históricos y culturales al sendero arqueológico “El Guafe†, evidenciándose la existencia de recursos patrimoniales de alto valor para la población de Cabo Cruz.
