Estructura social y su influencia en el estado de salud en Cuba

Abstract

La estructura social de la sociedad en Cuba ha sido objeto de estudio por diferentes investigadores sociales, pero no se conoce que hayan explicitado de manera suficiente los impactos sociales de su influencia en la salud de la población. Entonces cuando triunfa la revolución cubana se manifiesta un cambio radical en la composición socioclasista nacional, se sustituye la estructura socio-clasista del régimen capitalista precedente hacia la integración social de toda su población; el artículo que se presenta tiene como objetivo describir la relación existente entre la estructura socioclasista y el proceso salud-enfermedad en Cuba que favorezca la salud del individuo, la familia y comunidad. Luego de efectuar un esbozo del tema en general, se particulariza a partir del enfoque clasista que aporta el marxismo y que motiva la realización de este trabajo.
