Análisis de la calidad del empleo en los jóvenes de la parroquia Tenguel Cantón Guayaquil provincia del Guayas, periodo 2014-2017

Abstract

La investigación revisa la calidad y acceso al empleo al empleo por parte de los jóvenes en la parroquia rural Tenguel perteneciente al cantón Guayaquil, provincia del Guayas, el objetivo que se planteó fue Determinar las condiciones de acceso a empleo, características del mismo y las condiciones de la oferta laboral de la población rural del segmento de jóvenes entre 15 y 24 años de la parroquia Tenguel del cantón Guayaquil, provincia del Guayas. Para este propósito se cuantificó la población en 2.098 jóvenes entre 15 hasta 24 años, la muestra calculada ascendió a 282 individuos. Se aplicó la técnica de encuesta, para ello se utilizó un cuestionario con 23 preguntas cerradas. Los principales resultados fueron que la parroquia Tenguel tiene una intensa actividad económica en acuacultura, pesca y agricultura de exportación¸ Las empresas que están en la parroquia Tenguel tienen forma de persona jurídica como persona natural, al año 2016 declararon una venta agregada de US$ 23 millones y 690 trabajadores afiliados a la seguridad social; y, La situación laboral de los jóvenes evidencia la existencia de empleo precario con tiempo trabajado menor al reglamentario de 40 horas, horas adicionales trabajadas y no remuneradas, alto porcentaje de trabajo temporal, falta de afiliación a la seguridad social y condiciones de seguridad en el trabajo. Esto ocurre no necesariamente por estar empleados en actividades económicas de baja productividad sino, por falta de supervisión a las empresas sobre su cumplimiento.
