Sistema web como herramienta de comunicación y control de pacientes del departamento médico “María Auxiliadoraâ€

Abstract

El presente trabajo consiste en la implementación de un Sistema Web para llevar el control de los pacientes que acuden al Departamento Médico “María Auxiliadora†ubicado en la ciudad de Riobamba, de igual forma para mantener una comunicación con los pacientes y tengan conocimiento de fechas disponibles para el agendamiento de citas y atención médica; a través de la creación de la ficha médica, reservación de citas médicas e historia clínica en el área de medicina general y especialidades. Para la realización de la aplicación web se aplican las fases de Análisis, Diseño e Implementación del software y metodología ágil, de acuerdo a los requerimientos del Departamento considerando que el proceso actualmente se lo lleva a cabo de forma manual, lo que implica más tiempo de espera, menor control sobre las fichas médicas, etc. Con la creación de la aplicación web se optimizan recursos y se facilita el control y seguimiento de cada paciente a través del uso de las herramientas informáticas: Java, Java script, SCC, HTML5 (Lenguaje de marcas de hipertexto), PHP (Preprocesador de hipertexto), MySQL y Dreamweaver.
