Una mirada sobre la prevención de los trastornos del lenguaje y la comunicación oral en los niños de la infancia preescolar

Abstract

La aparición de alteraciones en el desarrollo del lenguaje y comunicación oral en los niños, constituye en muchas ocasiones un motivo de preocupación para padres, maestros y educadores, pues de no desaparecer estas alteraciones, al arribar a la edad escolar, pueden influir negativamente en el desarrollo de la comunicación, el aprendizaje escolar y la personalidad en general. En el presente artículo se reflexiona sobre la necesidad de prevenir los trastornos del lenguaje y la comunicación oral en los niños de la infancia preescolar. Sus fundamentos se sustentan en la experiencia del autor en el campo de la Logopedia, así como de los aportes por investigaciones nacionales y extranjeros relacionados con esta problemática.
