Turismo idiomático de larga estancia para jubilados en la ciudad de Cuenca-Ecuador

Abstract

El turismo idiomático es una nueva modalidad del turismo cultural, este tipo de turismo ha despuntado a finales del siglo XX, consolidándose en la última década, en especial con los nuevos movimientos migratorios. Este segmento se representa como un turismo de larga duración con características muy peculiares tanto en el núcleo emisor como en el receptor. Este trabajo propone un análisis de los conceptos y características de este tipo de turismo, unido a nuevas tendencias del turismo, tanto para jubilados en América Latina.
