La enseñanza de la historia en función de la cultura de paz

Abstract

El artículo hace referencia a una problemática en la enseñanza de la Historia en la Educación Secundaria Básica, referida al insuficiente empleo de las potencialidades educativas de los contenidos históricos para contribuir a la formación integral de la personalidad de los estudiantes, en este caso específicamente de la cultura de paz, la cual se analiza como un contenido histórico estructurante dentro del proceso. Es el resultado de investigaciones que se vienen generando en la Universidad de Las Tunas como resultados de proyectos relacionados con la enseñanza de la Historia en los diferentes niveles educacionales, parte de los referente teóricos desde la historiografía y la Didáctica de la Historia de la categoría cultura de paz y concluye con un aporte novedoso en la Educación Secundaria Básica.
