Caracterización de la difusión de contaminantes atmosféricos bajo condiciones físicas y meteorológicas de la ciudad de Riobamba, usando modelos matemáticos

Abstract

El trabajo desarrolló un estudio de difusión de contaminantes aéreos desde fuentes fijas, considerando las condiciones físicas y meteorológicas de la ciudad de Riobamba, para lo cual se aplica el modelo ISCLT (Industrial Source Complex in Large Time) avalado por la agencia del medio ambiente de los Estados Unidos EPA (Enviro Mental American Pollution), que se adapta a las condiciones de altura (2750 msnm) y posición geográfica (latitud 1° 30´) de la ciudad de Riobamba, palicando el modelo de Van Ulden y Hostlang, que se ajusta a las condiciones físicas y meteorológicas de la atmosfera de la zona, usando datos de la estación meteorológica de la ESPOCH (Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo), determinando la dispersión relativa de los contaminantes, en función de la dirección del viento, velocidad del viento y grado de estabilidad, clasificado según las clases de Pasquill, simulando la difusión de contaminantes atmosféricos en la zona.
