La educación ambiental y el trabajo comunitario. Estrategia desde el Centro Universitario Municipal

Abstract

La protección del medio ambiente y la aspiración al desarrollo sostenible constituye una de las prioridades de las líneas de trabajo del Ministerio de Educación Superior de la República de Cuba, el fundamento teórico que sostiene consiste en la crítica al conocimiento ambiental prevaleciente, por resultar el responsable del creciente estado de degradación ambiental, que amenaza a la extinción de la especie humana. A cambio se ofrece la alternativa de experimentar en la práctica un nuevo saber ambiental, que se incuba en la Universidad de Pinar del Río “Hermanos Saíz Montes de Oca†y puede ser pertinente al alcance de aproximaciones graduales la anhelada sostenibilidad.
