Prevención y protección del estado al consumo de alimentos promoviendo la soberanía alimentaria

Abstract

Ecuador es una de las primeras naciones que incorpora en la legislación Constitucional a la soberanía alimentaria, la misma que es entendida como el derecho de los pueblos a definir y elegir el propio sistema agroalimentario sobre la base del acceso de los pequeños y medianos agricultores y pescadores artesanales a los bienes productivos para garantizar la producción nacional de alimentos y al progreso local, la escases de rescatar el control sobre el modo de producir, transforman y distribuir los alimentos, poniendo en el centro de estas políticas el derecho de los trabajadores y a una alimentación sana y saludable para todos.
