La inserción laboral del trabajador social en instituciones de educación superior: caso de estudio universidades manabitas

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio es analizar la inserción laboral de los Trabajadores Sociales en las Instituciones de Educación Superior de Manabí. Se utilizó la metodología descriptiva, con la técnica de la encuesta aplicada a profesionales de Trabajo Social que laboran en las Universidades: Técnica de Manabí, San Gregorio, Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí, Escuela Superior Politécnica de Manabí y Estatal del Sur de Manabí; los resultados que en ésta área laboran mujeres y hombres con título de tercer nivel, su forma de ingreso fue a través de entrevistas personales, y su desempeño profesional este delimitado por el rol y las funciones que realizan de acuerdo al perfil de su área de profesión, entre las que se mencionan: Bienestar Estudiantil Talento Humano y Prevención de Riesgos a laborales y Salud Ocupacional. Un dato importante es que los profesionales que están en esta área son graduados de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí y de Eloy Alfaro de Manta, donde actualmente se ofrece la carrera de Trabajo Social, este recorrido empírico pretendió tener una visión caloscopica de la realidad laboral donde se desenvuelven el área de educación y específicamente en el de la Superior.
