Presencia de fluor, coliformes totales y fecales en agua de vertiente de la comunidad Intiluisa provincia e Chimborazo Ecuador

Abstract

La presencia de altas cantidades de flúor, coliformes totales y fecales en varias comunidades hace que la fluorosis y las de enfermedades gastrointestinales sean causa importante de morbimortalidad en nuestro medio, especialmente en nuestra población infantil, añadidos los malos hábitos dietéticos e higiénicos hacen que sean mayores estos casos. En los manantiales el control microbiológico es escaso o inexistente, especialmente en los alejados de los núcleos urbanos, lo que supone un riesgo sanitario por la posibilidad de la presencia en el agua de microorganismos patógenos y sustancias indeseables. Ellos que se le considera un problema de Salud Pública para la población en general enfermedades entero patógenas, indicativo para mayor atención de las autoridades de salud de nuestro medio y vigilancia que debería ser permanente.
