Cálculo del tamaño de muestra mediante el software muestreos estadísticos

Abstract

Un problema que se presenta en diversas disciplinas es la incorrecta determinación o falta de sustitución de los valores en el cálculo del tamaño de muestra y la escaza estimación puntual o por intervalo de confianza de los parámetros, es por ello que se planteó el objetivo de mostrar el “Cálculo del tamaño de muestra mediante el software muestreos estadísticos†. Este software fue desarrollado con el lenguaje de programación JAVA, y calcula el tamaño de muestra de los métodos de muestreo probabilísticos. Adicionalmente, se dispone de una opción para generar números aleatorios que permite seleccionar los elementos que conformarán la muestra. También se puede realizar la estimación puntual y por intervalo de confianza de los parámetros como son la media aritmética, el total y la proporción. Se calculó el tamaño de muestra para la media aritmética en el muestreo simple aleatorio mediante el uso del software y con su fórmula correspondiente. Se concluye que con el software es eficiente, lo cual facilita el cálculo del tamaño de muestra y la estimación del parámetro.
