Reforma agraria en Nicaragua: un reto para la Administración Pública

Abstract

El proyecto de la reforma agraria fue muy importante en la Administración Pública contemporánea nicaragüense durante el período de 1979 a 1990. A pesar de sus notables aciertos —y el propósito central de una mayor igualdad social—, se replicó un modelo modernizador y centralista del Estado, el cual concebía la ruralidad dentro del esquema de lo tradicional y lo moderno. En el presente ensayo nos proponemos analizar la reforma agraria nicaragüense con base en la priorización del sector estatal y cooperativo de la época. Por otro lado, estudiaremos la contradicción entre el paradigma industrialista y el paradigma campesinista. Ambos fueron importantes en términos de políticas agrarias y fueron muy influyentes en la sociología rural y la economía campesina. Finalizaremos con una breve conclusión en torno a este proceso tan apasionante para futuros proyectos de la Administración Pública del agronicaragüense.
