Propuesta de plan de desarrollo turístico parroquial en el Ecuador. Caso de estudio

Abstract

El presente artículo refleja los resultados obtenidos en la investigación relativa a modelar plan para el desarrollo turístico de parroquias rurales ecuatorianas, tomando como caso de estudio la parroquia Huigra, Cantón Alausí, provincia de Chimborazo. Los objetivos perseguidos son de diseñar modelo de plan de desarrollo turístico capaz de extrapolarse a parroquias rurales, considerando el contexto local de cada una; demostrar la factibilidad de planes de desarrollo turísticos de parroquias rurales que potencien el empleo, calidad de vida, alineados a la política gubernamental del buen vivir; exponer la gestión del turismo como alternativa de desarrollo local multifactorial; entregar a las autoridades locales y provincial de este cantón y parroquia del modelo de plan de desarrollo turístico para su inmediata implementación. No existen antecedentes de este tipo de modelo generalizador, donde se adoptan investigaciones de corte descriptivo, cualitativo y de campo, además de los métodos científicos de expertos, análisis y síntesis, contradicciones dialécticas, empíricos o heurísticos. Se concluye la investigación con el modelo del plan de desarrollo turístico, aceptado por los actores y autoridades involucrados.
