La educación y protección medioambiental en el semidesierto Cubano

Abstract

La inadecuada educación medio ambiental que presentan los comunitarios y actores sociales presente en las comunidades, así como el elevado nivel de deforestación que existe en el ecosistema costero, las cuencas hidrográficas y otras áreas del territorio, es el problema fundamental a resolver con este trabajo para lo cual nos proponemos a través de un proyecto basado en un sistema de acciones elevar el nivel de conocimientos sobre la problemática ambiental así como elevar en nivel de responsabilidad con el cuidado y preservación del medio ambiente, involucrando directamente a los miembros de las comunidades en las acciones educativas y de preservación ambiental, contribuyendo con ello a disminuir los riesgos de enfermedades provocadas por la contaminación, garantizar la reforestación del ecosistema costero, de las cuencas hidrográficas y de las áreas deforestadas lo que favorecerá la preservación de especies de animales y plantas endémicas de esta franja costera.
