El largo camino hacia la televisión digital terrestre

Abstract

La interactividad es un servicio fundamental de la televisión digital terrestre que permite al usuario interactuar con el transmisor a través del mando a distancia. En este artículo se describe el software que permite esta comunicación se describe. Este es el middleware de Ginga. Este middleware genera contenido para televisión y ejecuta aplicaciones que acompañan cada contenido publicado en un televisor a través de un decodificador. Esta arquitectura se describe, diferentes tipos de lenguajes que definen sus tipos de entornos. En estos entornos se considera que el más importante es el declarativo, conocido como Ginga-NCL, porque su simplicidad permite a una persona no considerada programadora profesional poder utilizar este lenguaje. Se explica la estructura de un documento NCL basado en el estándar XML desarrollado por la PUC-Rio. Además de una lista de herramientas de desarrollo. También cuando se utiliza el servicio de interactividad se realiza una breve explicación del canal de retorno que permite la comunicación entre el proveedor y el servicio interactivo del usuario.
