Abstract

En la actualidad el transporte público es un eje fundamental para el desarrollo armónico de la sociedad, este debe estar inmerso en las políticas públicas del estado para que se dé un seguimiento al desarrollo del mismo, grandes desafíos enfrenta la sociedad en lo referente al sistema de transporte público en Monterrey, tal es el caso de la seguridad para los pasajeros en los camiones urbanos, el desarrollo de infraestructura vial que contemple el crecimiento de la ciudad y las demandas de transporte público creciente, el caso de los taxis autorizados y la llegada de taxis de la empresa UBER, el sistema de transporte denominado METRO que necesita crecer en kilómetros para responder a las demandas de los usuarios, sin duda alguna el estado tiene un buen desafío en este tema y una gran oportunidad para mejorar y contribuir al bienestar social.
