Finanã‡As E Sustentabilidade: Um Levantamento Sobre A Produã‡Ãƒo Cientã Fica Na Base Do Scopus

Abstract

O presente estudo procura contribuir para a temática de finanças sustentáveis que ainda é tratada de maneira incipiente dentro do âmbito da literatura acadêmica. Diante desse contexto, o objetivo deste trabalho consiste em explorar a produção científica dos tópicos finanças e sustentabilidade na área de Administração, Contabilidade e Economia por meio de uma pesquisa bibliométrica na base de dados Scopus, no período de 2004 a 2013. Foram encontrados 462 artigos com predomínio de Estados Unidos, Reino Unido e China como os países com maiores números de publicações enquanto o Brasil ocupa apenas a vigésima posição no ranking referente a número de publicações por países. Verifica-se a ausência de artigos que tratem de finanças sustentáveis. O que predomina são trabalhos de sustentabilidade ou de finanças que tratam o outro tópico de forma breve ou sem muita importância.
