Abstract

En el presente artículo se realiza un análisis de la Cognición Social y la Toma de Perspectiva del otro desde la Neuropsicología Cognitiva. La Cognición Social incluye varios procesos cognitivos implicados en cómo la gente piensa sobre ella misma, otras personas, situaciones sociales e interacciones. Este dominio contiene a la Toma de perspectiva del otro como un proceso que involucra habilidades y capacidades para percibir fenómenos comunes desde la posición de otro. Recientemente en la comunidad científica ha entrado en debate la relación existente entre la Teoría de la Mente con la Toma de Perspectiva del otro por las similitudes conceptuales entre ambos. Un aspecto en común entre estos procesos es la capacidad de comprender la cognición de otras personas mediante la inferencia de sus estados mentales y la posibilidad de situarse en su perspectiva.
