Abstract

La gestión de la cadena de suministro es motivo de interés para todo empresario, ya que su coordinación puede proporcionar excelentes resultados, logrando un incremento de la competitividad y un mejor nivel de servicio a los clientes. La forma más habitual de lograr esta coordinación es a través de contratos entre las empresas que componen la cadena. En este trabajo, se desarrolla una revisión de los principales tipos de contratos existentes en la gestión de la cadena de suministro, así como las ventajas e inconvenientes de su aplicación. El objetivo es proporcionar una visión clara pero rigurosa de esta incipiente disciplina.
