Analise De Regressãƒo Das Conversã•Es Florestais Em Santarã‰M €“ Parã €“ Amazonia - Brasil

Abstract

A análise das conversões florestais no oeste do estado do Pará tem sido orientadas pelas análises concentradas apenas no fator Soja, como sendo o principal condutor das conversões florestais na região. Em termos gerais preste artigo analisou todos os possíveis fatores subjacentes responsáveis pela conversão de ecossistemas na região e em especial no município de Santarém. Por meio da aplicação das técnicas de análise fatorial e estimativas via Mínimos Quadrados Ordinários – MQO foi possível sustentar a hipótese que a soja apesar de ser o principal fator do desflorestamento, divide com muitos outros o processo de conversões no Município e nas fronteiras.
